Today is Chinese New Year Eve. I finally leap out my first step. My first ever biggest step in my life :)

One of the pre-requisition of making Dan my wife was to give her a "Wooden" ring. Well, throughout my research and asking around from friends, i came across a couple of sites selling wooden rings. I even came close to placing an order from a Canadian company which only send their orders to either Canada or U.S.

Anyway, I was lucky to found out one day when I was accompanying Dan doing her weekly shopping spree, that a local shop name "Bead Zone" offers a variety of wooden ring too. The excitement was so great that i wanted to get that ring there and then, but then my managed to cool my nerves down and decided to instead get the ring later when I'm alone so as not to sploit the excitement for Dan :)

Well, today's the day. Let's start the journey :)


2pm, parked my car in front of Midland's Shopping Complex




With a rather worried feeling, i prayed hard that hopefully the shop is open during Chinese New Year Eve. Entered the complex, climbed up to 1st floor ............. ......... ................ ......  .......



To my horror, the shop is no longer "Bead Zone" !!!!! Oh My GOD !!!!


Luckily, I still remembered. There's another "Bead Zone" nearby, which is located inside Gurney Plaza. And so, I headed towards there There and Then ......... ..... walking.... .....


I used the small lorong kia .....



.... .... came across a cute cat (can i say it's a FatOrangeCat ??? ).......

Stayed a while, talking with the cat, not forgetting to snap a shoot with him :)





 ...... and then continue on with my important journey.




Wasn't actually too sure about the exact walking route to Gurney Plaza, as this was my first time walking there. I walked .... walked .... and walked .....


...... ahhhhhhh~~~~ Finally, saw the Gurney Plaza sign :)



Quickly put on more speed, hoping to get there ASAP ........



????? (scratching head) ?????
I saw Gurney, but ...... "DEAD END" !!!!!
Oh my god. And so, i turned back, took a few more turns, met a few more dead ends, and finally i reached :)





Sped my way up to the 3rd floor, and pray hard again. To my surprise, i see this :)



Yes !!! It is "BEAD ZONE" !!! And it is opened on the Chinese New Year Eve. :)


There was a variety of choices. Don't know exactly what to choose.




After about 30 minutes of hard decision, actually found out that there wasn't actually much choice for Dan's ring, as all the rings' size seems much bigger than my thumb. Dan's 4th finger's size is exactly the same as my right hand last finger. I finally get one for her after make sure that I've got the "Best of the Best" ring. And i tot, a weeding needs to have 2 ring, and thus, i get another one for myself. And the final outcome is this :)
